Its astonishing to realise the number of places Ive been to over the past 2 years :)
I guess im super fortunate to be able to do so :)
i mean, im still a student, i have an academic life, but haha looking at the photos, thats not my occupation. my occupation should be "traveller" :D HAHHA
and i'm thankful that my parents can support my travelling :)
all our travelling are high expenses travellin,
in family trips, we stay in the best(except japan trip cos i was planner, trying to cut cost!), eat the best, travel the best..
everything best best best, its not easy..
but when im on band trips i scrimp and save
and spend more on gifts and souvenirs cos those are the ones i can keep and give :)
HMMM. MUAHAHA presenting, the LIST!!!!
Dec '09 -- Dec'11
1. Paris
2. London
3. Taiwan
4. Hongkong June
5. Hongkong Dec
6. Seoul
7. Austria
8. Germany
9. Japan
Okies let the recollection begin!!!
1. Paris :)

First A380 we sat, it was ultimate luxury of space! :) Off to Paris :)

Outside the Palace of Versailies where the treaty was signed :) I was frozen till my lips "disappeared from my face" :)

Beautiful sight :) Paris still remains the most romantic city in Europe, for me :) Its like being in a place with beautiful hand-painted cathedrals, awesome museums, royalty like dining places :) what more can i ask for! :)
2. London

Went on the Eurostar to London from Paris :) Taken outside the Windsor Palace, where Queen Elizabeth currently resides :)

The London Eye :) And i caught Les Miserables too :) Honestly, before i watched it i wasnt too impressed with the storyline, but. the play blew me away! to the extent that I feel like i should dump both psych and engine and run off to europe to study theatre studies :).. SIGH. thats a BIG dream that will never come true. in SG, its only "Dream if you have the capacity to." not "Dream big". okay this is depressing. move on!

London :) A great place to be in largely due to easy communication, no language barrier.. hmmm and do check out london bridge and the adjacent museum, interesting interesting :) otherwise, its simply another shopping heaven :) Burberry's and Ted Bakers on lowER prices, they're not exactly very cheap still..

back to Paris on the Arc de Triomphe overlooking Champs Elysee where we stayed at Le Claridge :) We were there during christmas season :) christmas markets along champs were great! Hot wine, Churros, Chocolate, Waffles, Mushroom Stroganoff, Swarovski Crystal Handmade Decorative balls,i its just goes on and on and on... :)
3. Taiwan -- Band Trip with NIE Band :)

Hmmm. dunno where this is, some big important thing :) Everyone who comes to Taiwan has to have a shot here :) its near the place where they have the changing of guards ceremony..

Was on the trip with mainly them :) Mr Ho, Mr Wong, Victor, Shannon, Darrin, ShuJian :) out of which Shujian'e the only non NJCian, he's from Raffles. We all had a great time tgt although this memory seems so far away.. even further than Sec 4 Grad day. SIGH. sadly its been buried to the depths of my mind. Oh well. At least i have pictures of remember it from :)

Honour band clique :) honour band is STILL the best band ive ever played it. BEST! I cant forget how awesome we sounded :) great experience id NEVER forget :) I guess that was the only part related to NJ that was clear :)

ALL batches of NJCians from NIE band :) now tt i look at it, looks like a family portrait of a mafia family :) HAHA but.. generally, good company id say :) it wasnt awesome, but.. good enough :)
4./5. Hongkong -- Most visited place. 2nd home!

I dont even remember which photo was from when.. we've been to HK so many times, sometimes not the entire family goes, like. maybe its just me, my mum, aunt, and my sis? ya. i cant even count.. and we dont have many photos of it cos its like. 2nd home.. hmm im thinking if it should even be considered a place i "travelled to" since visits are more frequent than travellin to M'sia..

This must be june cos we're in summer clothes

This is december :) haha christmas deco! HK is simply a good place to shop and eat at an affordable price.. NO TAX!!
6. Seoul -- A lovely place to people watch :) er. just forget that they did plastic.

I look skinny here!! HAHAHA ps. ignore me.
Sadly i dont quite remember much of it cos the period after this was one of the most trying periods in my life. :(

Having Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) near GyeongBokGung :) YUMYUM. must return!! Im not a fan of korean food though.. i think red food is not appetising.. :( nonetheless, seoul is a place with lovely coffeeshops, good cheap korean shopping :)
7. Austria -- By God's grace, this trip was in time to heal my soul from all the rejection ive faced from both unis. and relieve my stress of thinking about courses, whether to go overseas..

The view from my room in Schaldming. Beautiful paradise. Ivve never seen anything like this.. Speechless.. The beauty of this place is just not describable by words :)

Salzburg, Birthplace of Mozart :) One of the most romantic places in Europe too :) Beautiful beautiful :) I had the loveliest memories there haha prolly due to the fact that Schaldming has not sights though its filled with the blessings of nature :)

On the top of a mountain thats between austria and germany, Hitler's vacation home on one side, Salzburg on the other :) Im glad we had the Saxes bring us around :) at that time the rushing was quite RUSHED. but now thinking back, with only 1 day in Salzburg, if we didnt rush, id regret it !!

8. Germany

Munich :) HMMM. this city was okay i guess. due to the poor lodging, i'm HIGHLY biased against it.. but its gothic sights are beautiful nonetheless :)

Company was the most important on this trip :)my BEST band trip EVER. BEST!
8. Japan

Kyoto -- Lovely traditional places :) Kimono Clad Women, thats Kyoto haha

Nara -- Deerland :)

Hakone, Hot Springs!
Robouchon at Tokyo :) Highly inflated Christmas dinner, 300++ per person.. Shall get to that in another post..
Yups :D Thats the end of my adventures!! :D
